Maki (often Japanese Yew Pine, Podocarpus macrophyllus) is an evergreen shrub/tree prized for its neat, upright form and fine-textured leaves. It’s commonly used for fence/hedges, topiary, and bonsai-style shaping in pots.

• Water: Daily in the morning.
• Extra: Occasional leaf misting can help maintain humidity, especially where the air is dry. Pay attention to your plants’ signals: drooping leaves suggest watering is needed, browning leaves may indicate being overwatered and may need a skip on watering.
