Red Congo (often sold as Philodendron ‘Congo Rojo’/‘Red Congo’) is a self-heading philodendron with broad, glossy leaves and rich burgundy tones on new growth and stems. It forms a neat, upright clump—perfect for a bold, low-fuss tropical look indoors.

• Light: Bright, indirect light; too little light can dull red tones.
• Water: Water when the top 1–2 inches dry; avoid consistently wet soil.
• Soil: Well-draining aroid mix with bark/perlite.
• Humidity: Moderate humidity; higher humidity keeps leaf edges crisp.
• Maintenance: Rotate for balanced growth; wipe leaves and fertilize lightly during active growth.
