Philodendron selloum (now commonly Philodendron bipinnatifidum) is a bold, architectural plant with large, deeply lobed leaves. It’s often grown as a floor plant for bright interiors and covered patios.

• Light: Bright, indirect light; some gentle sun is fine.
• Water: Water when the top 2 inches dry; don’t allow the plant to sit in water.
• Soil: Well-draining potting mix amended with perlite and bark.
• Humidity: Average to moderate humidity; higher humidity supports larger leaves.
• Maintenance: Give it space—leaves can get large; remove old leaves and fertilize during the growing season.
